Meditation
Tips
Below is the continuation of page one: Meditation
Techniques:
4. Choose A Meditation Technique
Although there are many different meditation tips I will suggest
one that is very effective and brings about incredible results. For this meditation you will be using soothing
meditation music with headphones. Make sure the music is not intrusive and doesn’t become the focal point of the
meditation. The music must be soothing not distractive.
The music is a tool to help us reach a deeper state of relaxation and awareness
on a more subtle level. It helps to quiet our mind and the thoughts that run rampant every second we are awake. You
will find that as you begin perfecting these meditation tips you will not need the music anymore. You will be able
to reach a state of non-thought quickly and easily.

5. Chakra Meditation Tips
This meditation tip will use the charkas to focus our attention on. There are literally thousands of
charkas in our bodies. These are areas in our bodies where nerves crisscross. There are seven main charkas in the
body but we will only be meditating on three of these charkas. The three charkas we will be meditating on are the
Navel (Manipura), Heart (Anahata), and Third Eye (Ajna).
These three charkas are very potent and will open up your energy centers and
effect the surrounding 4 main charkas. There is no reason to start meditating on any other charkas at this point in
you meditations. It will only lead to failure and frustration. It is also possible to hurt yourself by opening your
kundalini or crown chakra too early in your meditations.
6. Meditate On The Chakras
Place two fingers on the lower chakra and begin to hold your finger and
your thoughts there for at least 5 minutes while you are listening to soothing music and practicing non-thought. It
is important to quiet your inner mind and focus only on the touch. As a thought begins to enter your mind allow it
to flow through without giving it any importance. This is only your minds way of telling you that it doesn’t like
not being in control. It is this very mind chatter that keeps us from experiencing anything on a deeper
level.
Next move on to your heart chakra and repeat the steps that you used for the lower chakra. Again do this for 5
minutes paying attention to the touch of your two fingers on your heart chakra and keeping your inner voice quiet.
Once you finish with the mind chakra you will have completed a full meditation.
Meditation is our gateway to deeper understanding and opens our hearts and mind to
the limitless possibilities we all possess. Remember there is no real right and wrong way to meditate but there are
meditation techniques, which will get you where you want to go much
quicker. If you set your expectations high and are willing to practice some simple meditation tips there is a good
chance you will begin to enjoy profound experiences each and every time you meditate.
Happy Meditating.
