There have been studies done that prove that a patient who uses meditation can reduce the healing time after surgery and also improve their chances of combating almost any illness.

By relaxing the body and calming the mind we bring about physiological changes that allows us to heal ourselves using only the unique powers of our bodies and our minds. 

Meditation is no longer considered to be a new age or eastern practice where you get into an uncomfortable position for hours at a time and chant a mantra which has no apparent connection to your life or your condition.

If you were curious about how there are people that live past the century mark, a study was done by George Vaillant, M.D. a researcher from Harvard that explores in his book “Aging Well” just what these centurions do to extend their life spans beyond what most consider to be an anomaly. He found through his research that most of these centurions cultivated a sense of well-being, peace and maintained a positive outlook on life and their human condition.

How did they do this you ask? One of their biggest secrets was meditation. The ironic thing is that meditation is just being accepted in the west as a healing technique but has been used for thousands of years in the East with incredible results. Could you imagine the consequences if we were to fully harness the power of meditation and the effect it would have on all of our lives?

End Sickness

What if we could end sickness both physically and mentally through the use of meditation and living a holistic life style? What type of society would we have if more people felt better and had more energy? How would you feel if you knew that you could extend your life and live a happier and healthier existence. Most people don’t know the true effects it can have on our body and on our mind. We must educate everyone about the benefits of meditation so that all can begin to experience a happy and healthy life while we are on this planet.
